Los Angeles science and math tutor, Alex Van Name, came to Circle Marketing with the idea of creating an online business which would involve selling his tutoring web videos to monthly subscribers. 310 Science Math was the result. Alex wanted to release premium tutoring videos online, and charge a monthly subscription to access those videos by students who couldn’t afford a private tutor, or lived in a location where hiring an in-person tutor of Alex’s Ivy League credentials wasn’t easy. By posting videos online and charging a monthly subscription fee, Alex could remotely provide tutoring to some common science and math problems. At the same time, certain students still benefit from a personal tutoring session, so online tutoring was also a product the website offered.
The Solution
After working with Circle Marketing, we analyzed 310 Science Math’s business and monetization goals and helped expand the business model to include cost-efficient subscription videos, an Email marketing strategy, conversion and list-building strategies, social media outreach strategies, PPC advertising campaign strategy, a virtual online tutoring service, and national tutoring referral services. We proudly took a modest and desired business model, and expanded it for maximum monetization.
The Results
310ScienceMath.com has just launched, but the initial results are promising. Having already sold some subscriptions, online tutoring sessions, and providing an organized payment gateway for in-person tutoring, 310 Science Math is growing and headed towards their goals!
