The Brief
The Mixed-Martial Arts (MMA) company American Fighting Organization (AFO) came to me with the desire and drive to increase their business. AFO was putting on 10 shows per year and selling out 6 of them. They desired to grow their company to expand outside of the greater Boston area, all while increasing show attendance.
AFO was in need of some expert marketing help and guidance when it came to positioning themselves as the top-rate organization that they were and still are. AFO’s logo, website, and promotional materials were all done on a shoestring budget and not created by marketing experts. Circle Marketing was asked to come in and give AFO “That L.A. style with the New York trim,” as Pete DiLorenzo, AFO’s owner and CEO, puts it.
The Work
Circle Marketing helped strategize the sponsorship plan and promotional materials, as well as recruitment materials to attract new fighters into the organization. Consultation and advice was given on some of the online efforts from AFO, like their out-dated website, and what they could achieve via Social Media.
The Result
After working with Circle Marketing, AFO is now selling out every show, has re-designed their website, and social media outreach campaigns, and are currently in the planning and booking stages of promoting their first West Coast show for 2012. AFO remains an on-going client and together we are executing strategic and massive growth for this growing company.
