The Brief
Andre Walker is a travel writer from the beautiful Caribbean island of Jamaica. The author wanted to develop a portfolio book for his travel writing, in order to pitch not only Jamaican travel magazines and blogs, but also international travel publications as well.
The Solution
Needing a brand and professional layout, Circle Marketing first worked on creating a logo for Andre which incorporated a traveler to show his profession was two-fold. He also has the perfect surname, “Walker” for a travel writer. We incorporated everything into a clean and clear logo.
Since his writings were taken from his travels throughout his native homeland of Jamaica, we used may images of the beautiful Jamaican landscape and it’s friendly people and colors. This helped bring Andre’s words to life through pictures, design, and colors already known as Jamaican.
The Results
Andre is currently using his portfolio book to garner interest from many different publications, both online and offline and is still writing in various publications. Circle Marketing handles updates to his book from time to time to keep it continuously fresh and up-to-date with Andre’s best and most current writing samples.
